Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver functional neurorehabilitation across home, school, and community settings.

You will evaluate, treat, and discharge patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, using real-life activities and settings to improve independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state SLP license and CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer patients up to 100 pounds safely.
• Physically active with endurance for walking/standing.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a patient-centered team.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve patient outcomes.
