Postgraduate Center For Mental Heal is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide direct service in Brooklyn, NY. The role involves crisis intervention, stabilization, and community-based care as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in advanced nursing from an accredited program.
• Current NYS license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
• NYS RN license required.

Responsabilités

• Participate in morning and staff meetings.
• Evaluate need for psychotropic medications and adjust as needed; educate clients and families.
• Complete psychiatric evaluations and updates.
• Conduct community visits per OMH licensing standards.
• Coordinate medication access with RNs and LPNs; administer injections when needed.
• Order routine labs and tox screens as appropriate.
