Qualifications

• Certified Peer Support Specialist in North Carolina.
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use recovery.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel in the community.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and follow agency protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer support grounded in hope and mutual respect.
• Share personal recovery experiences to inspire others.
• Help clients build life skills and connect with community resources.
• Document services accurately and submit them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centered care.
• Attend supervision, team meetings, and ongoing trainings.
