Pawnee Mental Health seeks a Peer Support Specialist who is in stable recovery and committed to empowering clients to achieve meaningful lives. You will assist clients in building support networks, advocate for rights, and support treatment plans under supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, collaborating with clinicians, and delivering outreach in community settings. Background checks and CPS certification timeline will be required, with preferred Kansas CPS credential.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening required.
• CPS certification preferred within 1 year of employment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in developing support networks and information sources.
• Support clients in making independent treatment decisions with clinicians.
• Review incidents and submit reports per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and advocate for client rights.
• Attend supervision and participate in treatment team discussions.
• Travel to community settings to deliver services as needed.
