Job summary

Youth Villages in Tupelo, MS, seeks a Mental Health Therapist to support Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC). You will manage 8–9 youth/families, provide in-home and family therapy, and coordinate care through wraparound planning.

A DMH credential or eligibility is required, with a strong focus on safety, communication, and community-based services. The role offers flexible scheduling around youth and families, with on-call coverage and ongoing clinical development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline is required.
• Mississippi DMH credentialing must be attained or be eligible.
• Experience with crisis intervention and working with families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 8 to 9 youth/families with weekly sessions.
• Provides 24/7 on-call support with rotating weekends/holidays.
• Develops and updates treatment plans weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
• Conducts psychosocial in-home assessments and CANS.
• Participates in wraparound meetings and court hearings as needed.
• Documents accurately in an EMR and supports professional development.
