Job summary

Youth Villages in Mississippi seeks a Mental Health Therapist for the Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock (MYPAC). You will carry a caseload of 8–9 youth and provide in-home and family-based therapy, assessments, and care coordination within a wraparound framework.

This full‑time role offers 52k–55k per year, 24/7 on‑call support, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline (required).
• Mississippi DMH credentialing eligibility (required).
• Experience in crisis intervention (preferred).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 8–9 youth/families; 16 sessions weekly.
• Provides 24/7 on-call support with rotating weekends/holidays.
• Develops and implements weekly/bi-weekly/monthly treatment plans.
• Conducts psychosocial initial assessments and ongoing therapy.
• Attends wraparound meetings with youth and guardians.
• Attends school, DCPS, and court meetings as needed.
• Completes timely EMR documentation.
• Maintains flexibility to support youth and families.
