The Community-Based Clinician (CBC) serves as a clinician, trainer, and relationship builder. The CBC will work closely with a team of peers and other clinicians to perform community outreach and trainings, aiming to connect people to START or other health services and increase awareness about behavioral health. The role involves administrative duties, including documentation related to recipients and interdisciplinary teams. The CBC will foster a practice environment focused on health equity, patient-centered care, trauma-informed approaches, and evidence-based treatment and harm reduction principles to support individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders.

This is a grant-funded position. No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this role. Physical demands include talking, hearing, sitting for long periods, using hands and fingers, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
