Merakey is hiring a Mental Health Worker in Harrisburg, PA to support individuals with serious mental illness in residential and community settings. The role involves assisting with rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and collaborative care planning under clinical supervision.

You will work with families, healthcare and social service partners to ensure comprehensive care, safety, and effective treatment outcomes while commuting across Dauphin County as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Travel across Dauphin County; valid PA Driver's License may be required.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or another behavioral science (or related experience) is expected.

Responsabilités

• Assist in providing rehabilitation and support services for individuals with mental health and behavioral health diagnoses.
• Support treatment plans, including substance abuse services, education, and family consultation, under clinical supervision.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.
• Collaborate with families to offer education, support, and guidance.
• Collaborate with community resources, healthcare providers, social services, housing agencies, and other support organizations.
• Ensure safety and well-being of consumers in residential programs by following safety protocols.
• Participate in direct care responsibilities, including daily living support and therapeutic activities.
• Follow and contribute to the treatment planning process with the clinical team.
