Job summary

Rise Services is hiring a compassionate Job Coach / Employment Specialist to help individuals with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful employment in Georgetown, Delaware. This part-time role meets participants at worksites and community locations, guiding career exploration, job applications, interviews, and workplace readiness.

Training is provided and a bachelor’s degree is not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree not required.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel locally.
• Basic computer skills, including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching at employer worksites and in the community.
• Help participants identify strengths and employment goals; assist with resumes and applications.
• Coordinate interviews and onboarding support with employers.
• Complete progress notes and maintain participant records.
• Develop workplace-readiness skills and employer relationships.
