Job summary

RISE Services is seeking a compassionate Job Coach / Employment Specialist for a part-time, community-based role in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. You will coach participants at employer worksites, assist with job applications, interviews, and workplace readiness, and help build skills for long-term employment success.

The position offers up to 29 hours per week with daytime hours, travel within Sussex County, and mileage reimbursement for approved travel.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment preferred.
• Ability to work independently in community settings and manage timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching at employer worksites and in community settings.
• Help participants learn job duties, workplace routines, safety procedures, and employer expectations.
• Teach workplace communication, professional behavior, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Develop natural workplace supports that promote independence and monitor progress.
