Job summary

RISE Services LLC in Frederick, Maryland seeks a Part-Time Job Coach / Employment Specialist to empower individuals with disabilities to find and keep work. You will meet participants at worksites across Frederick County, provide coaching, resume help, interview prep, and employment readiness activities.

This community-based role offers up to 29 hours per week with daytime hours, mileage reimbursement for approved travel, paid training, and potential path to full-time as needs grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is not required.
• Experience in disability services or related fields preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and transport participants.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching at employer worksites and in community settings.
• Help participants learn job duties, workplace routines, safety procedures, and employer expectations.
• Teach workplace communication, professional behavior, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Develop natural workplace supports that promote greater independence.
• Monitor participant progress and adjust coaching strategies as needed.
• Complete accurate progress notes and documentation within required deadlines.
