Job summary

Program Opportunity Knocks in Anaheim, CA seeks an Employment Specialist to provide IPS-based supported employment and education services in community settings. You will build relationships with employers, develop individualized plans, and assist participants with job search, applications, resumes, and interviews.

You will collaborate with treatment teams, ensure participant-centered supports, and maintain accurate documentation in EHRs while promoting recovery and integration into the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least two years in job coaching, development, or related field, or five+ years in related roles.
• Experience supporting youth or adults with behavioral health needs in employment or education settings preferred.
• Experience with IPS, employer engagement, and coordinated team efforts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants in community settings to build employment goals.
• Develop individualized employment/education plans with participant input.
• Conduct job development and employer outreach to identify opportunities.
• Support participants with applications, resumes, interviews, and onboarding.
• Provide ongoing job supports in workplace and community settings.
• Maintain responsive communication with participants and teams.
