Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) seeks a FIT Clinician to deliver intensive family therapy and stabilization for youth with Serious Emotional Disturbance in home and community settings across Western Massachusetts.

The role collaborates with outreach workers, family partners, schools and providers within the CBHI framework to develop individualized treatment plans, assess needs, manage risks, and support transitions to community services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master’s degree in a mental health field or a related area with license eligibility in MA, or a Master’s in a related field with at least 2 years of experience.
• CANS-MA certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Knowledge of Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) and child-serving systems; familiarity with family systems approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive family therapy and stabilization services to youth with SED and their families in home and community settings.
• Complete assessments, including CANS, CRAFFT, diagnostic evaluations, and SED determinations.
• Co-Facilitate team meetings with families, youth, and providers to review treatment plans.
