Job summary

Clinic Lancaster County Children's Services seeks a Bachelor’s Level Family Counselor to join the Family Based program, delivering intensive, community-based support and training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). This role partners with a Master’s-level professional to help families and children in need.

You will participate in crisis response, case management, weekly supervision, and a structured training program to earn ESFT certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant fields.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children/families in CASSP-related program
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and car insurance
• Ability to provide services in home/school/community locations
• On-call rotating schedule responsibilities
• Background clearances (PA State Criminal History Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance)

Responsibilities

• Work directly with families to address children’s mental health needs and provide therapeutic support.
• Help families navigate crises, strengthen relationships, and build a resilient support system at home.
• Partner with a Master’s-level Mental Health Professional to serve up to 8 families simultaneously.
• Assist in crisis response, case management, and weekly team supervision to enhance clinical skills.
• Participate in an employer-paid training program to gain ESFT model certification.
