Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Community Based Program Assistant to support classroom teachers in implementing instructional programs aligned to student IEPs. The role involves providing transition and homebound services with students in home and community settings, and traveling within Van Buren County to reach multiple locations.

The position requires a High School Diploma and the ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with planning and implementing instructional activities in community and home settings.
• Provide student-centered support in alignment with IEPs.
• Act as part of the Key Identified Personnel team to assist in crisis situations.
• Lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Travel across Van Buren County to provide instructional services (mileage reimbursement).
• Sit and/or stand for extended periods as required for student activities.
