Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Community Based Clinician for the Intensive Family Services program in Somerville, MA. The clinician will deliver in-home and community-based stabilization, advocacy, and clinical intervention to children and families in a family-centered, culturally competent framework.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a clinical mental health discipline, familiarity with home and community-based care, and a driver’s license for local travel.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline is required.
  • LMHC or LICSW licensure is preferred but not required.
  • Home and community-based experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for local travel are required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-home and in-community stabilization and clinical intervention.
  • Deliver youth and family psychotherapy and advocacy.
  • Develop service planning and linkage to community resources.
  • Support families using a family systems approach and cultural competence.

Community Based Clinician - Intensive Family Services

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Based Clinician to join our Intensive Family Services program in Somerville!

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline and familiarity working with: children and families and also home and community-based experience. The clinician will provide direct, intensive community-based support, advocacy and stabilization for the children and families.

Working from a variety of therapeutic modalities, Riverside Community Care emphasizes a family systems approach that works with every member of the family to help meet therapeutic goals. You will provide in-home and in-community stabilization and clinical intervention through youth and family psychotherapy, support, service planning, advocacy and linkage services to youth, including children with severe emotional disturbances (SED), adolescents, and families in the community. You will provide culturally competent services to a diverse population, including children and families frequently at risk due to multiple stressors, such as inadequate community supports and resources, language barriers, poverty and homelessness.

You will be part of an experienced & supportive team applying a systems approach aimed to assure the children and families in this program, a stable connection to their community.

Schedule:

Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate:
  • Unlicensed Clinician - $33.16/hourly rate
  • Independent Licensure - $35.70/hourly rate
  • additional $0.96 language differential available too!
