Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Somerville, MA seeks a Community Based Clinician for Intensive Family Services. The role supports children and families in home and community settings, using a family systems approach and culturally competent practices.

The clinician provides in-home stabilization, advocacy and psychotherapy, collaborating with an experienced team to connect youth and families to needed resources. Schedule is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical mental health discipline.

Community Based Clinician - Intensive Family Services

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Based Clinician to join our Intensive Family Services program in Somerville!

Our ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in a clinical mental health discipline and familiarity working with: children and families and also home and community-based experience. The clinician will provide direct, intensive community-based support, advocacy and stabilization for the children and families.

Working from a variety of therapeutic modalities, Riverside Community Care emphasizes a family systems approach that works with every member of the family to help meet therapeutic goals. You will provide in-home and in-community stabilization and clinical intervention through youth and family psychotherapy, support, service planning, advocacy and linkage services to youth, including children with severe emotional disturbances (SED), adolescents, and families in the community. You will provide culturally competent services to a diverse population, including children and families frequently at risk due to multiple stressors, such as inadequate community supports and resources, language barriers, poverty and homelessness.

You will be part of an experienced & supportive team applying a systems approach aimed to assure the children and families in this program, a stable connection to their community.

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours

Pay Rate:

• Unlicensed Clinician - $33.16/hourly rate
• Independent Licensure - $35.70/hourly rate
• additional $0.96 language differential available too!
