Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a dedicated Clinician for the Lehigh Valley ACT Program in Bethlehem, PA. You will deliver community-based clinical and substance use treatment services as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires CADC certification, a Master's in a behavioral health field, and at least two years of related experience. The position offers full-time hours, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Master's degree in behavioral health, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
Minimum of two years of related professional experience.
Current CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) certification required.
Experience providing substance use treatment and recovery support services.
Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community-based work.

Responsibilities

Conduct screenings and assessments utilizing validated tools to assess depression, suicidality, trauma, substance use, and other behavioral health needs.
Develop and direct individualized behavioral and therapeutic treatment plans in collaboration with participants, families, and treatment team members.
Provide direct clinical services through counseling sessions, community-based interventions, and participant support.
Lead multidisciplinary treatment planning, safety planning, goal development, and treatment reviews.
Complete assessments, documentation, and clinical records in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
Coordinate care and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, counselors, and other treatment professionals.
Assist with crisis intervention using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and program development activities.
