Job summary

Family Pride of Northeast Ohio, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a TBS Staff (QMHS) to provide community-based behavioral health services to clients and families, focusing on daily living skills, school, work and home integration.

Under supervision, the role requires developing rapport, linking families to services, case management for mental health and SUD, maintaining records, and collaborating with the treatment team; occasional travel and valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma.
• Minimum four years of experience in a human service related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, child development or related field preferred.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and needs effectively.
• Ability to interpret and understand client’s and identify a unique approach to treatment and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with client and family to engage in activities to improve integration into school, work, home and community.
• Assist client in achieving personal independence and daily living skills as identified by the individual and parent/guardian.
• Link client/family with natural and formal community supports.
• Provide mental health/SUD case management interventions addressing symptoms and barriers to education and employment.
• Evaluate client progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain timely records and comply with organizational rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with community representatives and family members for client needs.
• Utilize supervision to maintain a well-balanced caseload.
• Provide prevention interventions for mental health/SUD programming.
• All other duties as assigned.
