Job summary

Child & Family Support Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide clinical services to families across Maricopa County.

This role supports youth and young adults by delivering mentoring, coaching, and skill-building activities in home, community, or natural settings. Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of behavioral health experience OR a related Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Must be 21 years or older; flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record; reliable transportation and proof of insurance; negative drug test; DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card; CPR/First Aid training.

Responsibilities

• Empower young people with behavioral health challenges through mentoring, role-modeling, coaching and tailored interventions.
• Implement skill-building activities and behavior coaching tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Provide services in the community, home, or other natural settings.
• Build positive connections with children and adults in a strength-based, family-centered way.
• Perform other duties related to the position.
