Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Barista to lead front-line resident interaction with the community dining program, including daily restaurant operations, bar service, catering, and special events. The role collaborates with wait staff and bar personnel to ensure smooth, efficient service.

Responsibilities include order-taking, menu and drink guidance, and maintaining sanitation and guest satisfaction in a dynamic community setting. We offer a full-time schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• At least 1 year kitchen experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of items.
• Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars.
• Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs, observing dining process.
• Maintain table setting, replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
• Other duties as required.
