Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least three years of bank teller cash handling experience.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and grammar.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to work well in a team.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel to other locations within the region and flexibility with scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Identify, develop, expand, and manage consumer and business account relationships; meet customer needs for financial products.
• Identify customers with additional profit potential and develop action plans to expand these relationships.
• Address customer questions and concerns; refer to internal resources for resolution; act with integrity and adaptability.
• Participate in ongoing teller training; cross-train to assist customers when management is not present.
• Assist daily branch operations including reporting, audits, ATMs, coin machines and the main cash vault.
• Assist in monthly branch audits including teller cash audits, vault cash audits, ATM audits and Recycling Machines audits.
• Process routine and complex transactions including account openings/closings, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfers.
• Travel to other locations/branches within the region and adapt to schedule changes including evenings and weekends.
