Job summary

The National Bank and Trust Bastrop Branch is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and supervise operations staff.

You will train employees, ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, and lead growth through community outreach and relationship-building to expand deposits and customers.

Training for this position will occur in La Grange, Texas, with close collaboration to the Main Branch to maintain consistent processes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bank management experience.
• Experience with teller and new account responsibilities.
• Experience in consumer lending (auto loans & CD secured loans).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with financial data.
• Highly organized with time and team management experience.
• Desire to grow the branch network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of an assigned bank branch, including sales production, consumer loans, teller and new account openings, and operations.
• Promote branch growth through community involvement, relationship building, and business development to attract new customers and deposits.
• Monitor and guide staff; provide instructions as needed.
• Ensure excellent customer service and address escalated concerns.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and banking regulations.
• Ensure branch security procedures are followed and assist with cash discrepancies.
• Supervise branch staff; manage performance, coaching, and adherence to policies.
• Lead by example to foster team spirit and engagement; participate in hiring and training.
