Carver Federal Savings Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to serve Harlem, Brooklyn, and Queens, NY. You will build a trusted client relationship, understand financial goals, and promote Carver’s full product suite in a production-driven role that emphasizes advisory conversations and community-based banking.

The position requires 1–3 years of retail banking or client-facing sales experience, NMLS registration within 30 days, and a high school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred).

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of retail banking, financial services, or client-facing sales experience with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Working knowledge of deposit products, consumer lending concepts, and digital banking tools.
• Proven ability to build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and hold a client-first orientation under pressure.
• Basic familiarity with BSA/AML requirements, OFAC screening, and Regulation E obligations.
• NMLS registration required within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build a dedicated book of client relationships by proactively reaching out, following up on appointments, and creating a service experience that clients remember and return for.
• Conduct thorough financial needs assessments with every client, asking the right questions, listening with intention, and recommending products and services that genuinely fit their situation.
• Own the relationship from the first conversation through account opening, first referral, next product, and every meaningful moment in between.
• Deepen existing client relationships by regularly reviewing account activity, identifying unmet needs, and initiating outreach before clients have to ask for help.
