Job summary

Wilson Bank & Trust in Franklin, TN seeks a Community Banker to be the friendly, trusted face of the bank in the local community. You’ll perform teller and new accounts duties, greet customers, open accounts, and handle deposits and everyday transactions with accuracy.

You’ll build relationships with customers and businesses, learn product offerings, stay compliant with banking regulations, and participate in community activities to support growth and trust in the region.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail banking experience helpful (1 year preferred).
• Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Knowledge of bank products, services, policies and systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to service excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller and new accounts duties.
• Process opening of new accounts and servicing existing accounts.
• Accept deposits, process checks, disburse funds, verify transactions, detect fraud.
• Maintain relationships for consumer and business deposit customers.
• Assist customers with online and mobile banking usage.
• Identify opportunities to refer banking products to partners.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Support community activities and teamwork across branches.
