Job summary

Dilkon Medical Center | Winslow Indian Health Care seeks an Audiologist to establish and run a comprehensive audiology program. You will assess community needs, develop protocols, provide screening and diagnostic services, and fit hearing aids within a collaborative care setting.

The role requires strong EHR documentation, patient counseling, and coordination with other health professionals. Native language or Navajo language skills are a plus and a background check applies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Audiology required; Au.D. preferred.
• Arizona State Audiologist license required.
• Hearing Aid Dispensing License required.
• Two years of clinical practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for audiological services.
• Provide screening and diagnostic evaluations of hearing disorders; fit and dispense hearing aids.
• Document in the EHR and ensure accurate charting of data, plan of care and patient response.
• Counsel patients and families on hearing loss, communication strategies and hearing aid use.
