Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a General Manager (onsite Community Association Manager) for one of our communities in the South Ocala, FL area. The position is full-time with a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The Executive Director CAM (General Manager) serves as the operating officer for the community. Responsible for administration, operations, and maintenance of the overall community including common areas and facilities, ensuring services are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of Leland and the Board of Directors based on the association’s needs.
Degree in business administration, hospitality industry, or hands‑on equivalent field experience is preferred. Continuing education and/or related experience in community association management, recreation management or club management is a plus.
Must maintain state Community Association Managers License. Professional affiliation with Association of Community Association Managers and/or National Recreation & Parks Associations Institute, or equivalent is highly preferred but not required.
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to read and interpret simple and complex documents, reports, and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively with clear speech to individuals and groups. Multilingual skills helpful but not required.
Must be able to apply common‑sense logic and understanding to carry out instructions provided in written and/or oral form, solve problems involving several variables, interpret a variety of instructions, demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment and decision‑making, and utilize mathematical skills. Must be able to accurately perceive, comprehend and analyze situations, data and incidents.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and listen; use hands and fingers for computer work and paperwork; lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds; requires close, distance, and color vision.
Must be able to work alone without supervision and work well with others. Must have verbal and face‑to‑face contact with others. Most of the time will be working inside; works outside some times for property inspections and may be exposed to extreme heat or cold. Must be able to drive if required and travel.
