This role is onsite, with a maximum of 29.5 hours per week and rotating nights/weekends. Compensation is $12.00 per hour plus commission potential, reflecting market data and responsibilities.

The Position: The Community Assistant is primarily responsible for generating new leases and renewals through peer engagement, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting day to day office operations. This individual will act as the first point of contact for prospective residents, conduct tours, and represent the property both on and off campus. A successful Community Assistant will provide excellent customer service to residents and prospects, execute on day-to-day property operations, and support efforts to ensure the property meets or exceeds leasing and occupancy goals each year.
The Property: The Quarters Manhattan is a garden-style student housing community in Manhattan, Kansas, designed to serve students attending Kansas State University. The 228 unit, 696 bed community offers 2 and 4-bedroom units with amenities that include a newly renovated clubhouse and community lounge, fitness center, resort-style swimming pool, and much more. The Quarters provides team members with opportunities to develop and grow their careers while delivering an unmatched living experience for our residents.
This is a part-time position working a variable schedule, not to exceed 29.5 hours per week. Rotating nights and weekends are required and may vary based on property needs.
The compensation rate for this position is $12.00 per hourplus commission potential. This rate is determined by current market data based on the position requirements and complexities.
Requirements
This role is based fully in-office and requires onsite presence. Must be available to consistently work a minimum of 12 hours per week between 9:00am – 6:00pm. Weekday and weekend shifts will be required.
