Greentown Labs in Somerville, MA is seeking a Community and Events Associate for a 6-month co-op to support entrepreneurs and startups advancing climatetech. You will help the Boston Community & Events and Operations teams, build relationships with founders, plan events, and manage logistics to ensure a welcoming member experience.
You’ll also create event graphics in Canva, coordinate supplies, handle front desk duties, and maintain Salesforce data.

We are seeking a Community and Events Associate passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and startups advancing climatetech innovation. In this role, you’ll support the Boston Community & Events and Operations teams in creating a thoughtful, connected, and engaging experience for our startup members and visitors. You’ll build relationships with founders and teams through regular member interactions, support member communications, and help plan and execute engaging community events. You’ll also provide event logistics and operational support to help keep the Boston community running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, staying organized, and balancing a strong focus on member experience with the behind‑the‑scenes details that keep a busy community and events schedule running smoothly.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Community and Events.

This role requires on‑site work at Greentown in Somerville, MA at least four days per week, including at least four evenings per month. Remote work up to one day per week is available with manager approval and schedule coordination. Hours may vary based on event needs.
