Responsibilities

• Install and terminate category-rated copper and fiber optic cable.
• Conduct site surveys and pull cable.
• Train and supervise apprentices during installation.

Skills

Installation of Structured Cable Plant

Understanding of BICSI guidelines

Ability to read and understand plans and specifications

Copper and fiber optic termination

Troubleshooting communications cable issues

Familiarity with BlueBeam and Fluke Versiv

Education
