Brandeis University seeks a Communications Specialist to assist the Associate Director of Communication and Events in crafting and executing a comprehensive communication strategy for the Heller School, the Schneider Institutes and the School of Social Sciences and Social Policy.

The role involves creating content for website pages, developing campaign strategies (including US News & World Report), writing and editing press releases and newsletters, producing videos when needed, and coordinating

Qualifications

B.A./B.S. required with 3-5 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

Works with the Director to create, develop and manage content for the Heller School website pages and develop a strategy for the US News & World Report Campaign.
Writes, edits, and proofreads high-quality communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and tailored social media content for internal and external distribution.
Manages and produces videos as needed.
Oversees the design and distribution of the Social Policy Impact report.
Assists the Director of Communications and Events in promoting school wide events and activities while collaborating with and maintaining strong relationships with university centers.
Manages the Communications budget.
