Job summary

University Housing is seeking a Communications Specialist to manage content across print, web, video, and multimedia projects. You will collaborate with the team to craft stories and materials that support Family & Graduate Housing, Residence Life, and Dining Services, while maintaining campus brand guidelines and inclusive communications.

You will also oversee social media, mentor student staff, and help develop communication plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
• One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit content for print, web, video, and other multimedia projects for University Housing units.
• Content collaboration with Senior Communications Coordinator, including stories, blogs, articles, emails, websites, scripts, storyboards, postcards, brochures, social media, and presentations.
• Proofread and edit content for accuracy, consistency, clarity, and grammatical correctness.
• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to develop key messages and ensure content/design unification.
