Job description

Why FMH
Every day, someone receives a life-changing diagnosis. Getting the right medication should be straightforward - but too often it isn’t.

Specialty medications move through a complex network of providers, health plans, pharmacies, and manufacturers. Administrative delays, disconnected systems, and limited visibility can slow treatment when time matters most.

Free Market Health exists to make that process work better.

Our technology connects stakeholders across the specialty pharmacy ecosystem, helping prescriptions reach the right pharmacy while improving visibility, reducing friction, and keeping treatment moving forward for the patients who depend on them. We focus on the most important stakeholder of all: the patient.

Your impact

As a Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients and customers have a seamless experience throughout their journey with Free Market Health. You will support communication strategies that drive successful implementations, encourage platform adoption, and strengthen ongoing engagement with health plans, specialty pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and other partners.

Working closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, you'll develop and deliver clear, timely, and engaging communications that help stakeholders stay informed, aligned, and successful. This role is ideal for a communications professional who enjoys collaborating with others, managing multiple priorities, and growing their expertise within a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

WhatYou’llDo

Execute Client & Customer Communications
  • Draft, edit, and distribute client and customer-facing communications, including FAQs, implementation timelines, newsletters, project updates, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate communication deliverables across Client Services, Sales, Implementation, Product, Network, Support, and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain and update communication templates, toolkits, collateral, and supporting resources.
  • Support the development of meeting materials, presentations, and strategic communication plans.
  • Track communication milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and successful implementation activities.
Support Stakeholder Engagement
  • Monitor and respond to communications-related inquiries from clients and customers.
  • Partner with internal teams to communicate updates, manage escalations, and support issue resolution efforts.
  • Help ensure stakeholders receive clear, consistent, and actionable information throughout their partnership with Free Market Health.
Develop Content & Strengthen Brand Alignment
  • Ensure all communications align with FMH brand standards, voice, and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to incorporate client feedback, implementation insights, and success stories into communication initiatives.
  • Support the creation of case studies, testimonials, customer success content, and other promotional materials.
  • Monitor communication performance metrics and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in strategic communications projects and gain exposure to communication planning and stakeholder management initiatives.
  • Assume increasing ownership of communication programs and stakeholder groups as experience and expertise grow.
