Qualifications

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English(both spoken and written); ability to translate and interpret with clarity and accuracy.
• Strong English writing and editing skills with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to interpret colloquial expressions, slang, and coded language while conveying the intended meaning in English.
• Experience translating both complex technical content and informal communications.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex concepts accurately while maintaining the original message’s intent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with documentation review processes and compliance standards (experience with government-regulated processes preferred).
• Relevant professional interpretation or translation experience (experience working with diverse, immigrant, or refugee populations is highly valued).
• Cultural awareness, sensitivity, and ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage sensitive information confidentially.
• Language proficiency testing (e.g., ILR Level 2 or equivalent) may be required.
