Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead storytelling for AI products from Meta Superintelligence Labs, including Muse and Meta AI. You will shape the consumer AI product narrative in the US, guiding launches, strategy, and national press understanding.

You will counsel product leadership, partner with Policy/Legal/Research, and drive social-first storytelling with creators to highlight real-life use cases. This is a full-time, US-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in communications focusing on consumer technology in the US.
• Experience leading consumer software or AI product launches.
• Knowledge of generative AI concepts, trends and innovations.
• Ability to distill complex technical details into clear narratives, press materials, and social copy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the communications strategy for Meta Superintelligence Lab's consumer AI products, including Muse and Meta AI.
• Drive major product launch moments end to end: narrative, materials, press and social strategy, briefings, demos, embargo management, measurement.
• Serve as communications counsel to product leadership on positioning, media engagement, and issues management.
• Shape responsible AI storytelling including privacy, data access and safety in partnership with Policy, Legal, Research, and Product teams.
• Develop social-first and creator storytelling featuring Muse and Meta AI in real life.
• Build and steward relationships with technology, consumer, and business journalists, analysts, and creators.

You'll serve as communications counsel to the Meta Superintelligence Lab product leadership.
