Base pay range

$49.00/hr - $51.00/hr

Payrate: $49.00 - $51.00/hr.

Summary:
The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing. Create a variety of content for platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy and effective storytelling that aligns with corporate messaging Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data.

Responsibilities:

• Engage and maintain relationships with media contacts alongside the Director of Corporate Reputation.
• Develop proactive media outreach strategies and pitch materials to bolster positive reputation.
• Leverage a suite of media monitoring tools to sense and understand the media landscape as it relates to brand reputation, turning observations into actionable insights.
• Grow the Corporate Reputation team’s reporting function within the organization and identify new channels to provide organizational impact.
• Able to step in easily when needed on team projects from risk assessments to media monitoring.

Payrate: $49.00 - $51.00/hr.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of PR experience, either in-house or at an agency (knowledge managing an external agency a plus)
• Mainstream media relations experience
• Experience managing media relations for brand campaigns
• Creativity to bring fresh perspective to our work and come up with ideas that challenge status quo
• Ability to identify, develop and tell compelling stories
• Ability to track KPIs and translate results into key learnings and actions to inform future approach
• Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills

Education/Experience:

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $49.00 - $51.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
