Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a telecommunications lineman who specializes in both aerial and underground fiber placement.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic communication lines, both aerial and underground.

Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, and other line equipment.

String and pull wire and cable through ducts and conduits.

Climb utility poles and work at heights using proper safety equipment.

Read and interpret engineering plans, maps, and work orders.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, industry standards, and company policies.

Perform emergency restoration work during outages or weather-related events.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in telecommunications or utility line work preferred.

Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A or B preferred or willingness to obtain).

Ability to climb poles, work at heights, and lift up to 75 lbs.

Knowledge of telecommunications construction and safety procedures.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
