Job summary

Volvo Group is offering an internship in communications and content creation in the US. You will support design and delivery of video, articles, and social media content while collaborating with the Communications Team and cross-functional groups.

You will develop writing, photography, videography, and layout skills using Indesign and other tools, with housing assistance and internal mobility opportunities across Volvo’s global network.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a business, marketing, or communication degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship program.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Supporting plant objectives in creation of videos, articles and materials – with validation of information through interaction with employees and Communications Team.
• Build on campaigns with creative writing, videography and photography to support journey to engage and create sense of Volvo Family.
• Collaborate with Communications team, business teams and plant personnel to accent/inspire positive Volvo culture for better business results.
• Create and optimize engaging content by assisting, developing and creating media content.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts, including advertising opportunities.
