Reproductive Health Collaborative Nebraska is building communications that make the mission visible and the brand feel consistent across every channel. In this hybrid role in Omaha, NE, you will help shape clear messaging, manage brand visuals, and support community engagement through print and digital creative that drives outreach and relationship-building.
What you’ll do
Working closely with the Director of Communications & Resource Development, you’ll implement communications strategy and serve as the organization’s visual creative engine. You will manage day-to-day design and communications deliverables, including assets for the In Control communications campaign, while helping evolve content and visual standards for reach and clarity.
- Collaborate on communications strategy to produce clear, compelling, consistent messages and creative content aligned to brand and the In Control campaign.
- Support content development, design, execution, distribution, and maintenance for print and digital materials, including newsletters, brochures, annual reports, grant cycle summaries, email, social media, websites, slide decks, short-form video, and other necessary assets.
- Create and manage high-quality, innovative multimedia content and projects, including regular social media posting.
- Maintain and monitor social media accounts across multiple platforms.
- Identify content gaps, emerging trends, and peer organization activities, then feed insights back into programs to continuously optimize results.
- Communicate with multiple audience sectors, including the general public, healthcare professionals, healthcare clients, and funders/donors, while maintaining consistent brand tone and voice as directed.
- Organize audience sectors to improve communications delivery and support community engagement initiatives with the Programs & Initiatives Team, including Shelf Care Book Club and Training Center.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or journalism, plus minimum 3-5 years in a marketing/communications role.
- Strong design skills and the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders and multiple channels/platforms.
- A compelling portfolio showing typographic, color theory, layout, and composition mastery, and adaptability in both digital and physical mediums.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Canva, Mailchimp, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Ability to clearly explain the strategy and reasoning behind design choices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organization and time management, and the ability to move between strategy and day-to-day execution.
- Great attitude with willingness to recalibrate based on constructive feedback and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Commitment to the vision, mission, and value of the not-for-profit sector.
- Ability to pass a background check successfully post-offer.
- Valid driver’s license and current automotive insurance.
- Consistent and regular attendance at on-site, community, key stakeholder, or family meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications & Resource Development or Executive Director.

Salary
USD 61,600 - 70,840 per year.
