Three Rivers Community Action is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Communications Coordinator to help tell our story and strengthen connections across Southeast Minnesota. Through programs including Head Start, Energy Assistance, Housing, Transportation, Weatherization, and more, Three Rivers serves thousands of individuals and families each year. This role plays a key part in promoting our impact, supporting community engagement, and ensuring our messages are clear, professional, and consistent across all communication channels. The Communications Coordinator is an active member of the agency’s Communications Committee.

The Communications Coordinator serves as Three Rivers Community Action's central resource for agency-wide communications, branding, marketing, storytelling, public relations, and community outreach. This position helps ensure the agency presents a consistent, professional, and mission-centered message through its website, social media, newsletters, print materials, annual reports, outreach events, media relations, and public awareness campaigns.
Working closely with program leaders and agency leadership, you’ll develop communication materials, promote program visibility, coordinate outreach efforts, and help share the stories and successes of the people and communities we serve.
This full-time position (40 hours per week) is based in Zumbrota and requires flexibility to work outside traditional business hours as needed.
