Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a communications professional to develop, draft, edit, and execute communications for diverse internal and external audiences. You will collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with organizational objectives.

The role requires handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work beyond core hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations or other communications-related field and 2 years of communications experience, including copy development and editing OR 6 years of corporate communications experience.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and short timelines; handle multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to interact with clients with confidence.
• Adept and comfortable at influencing the decision-making process.
• Willingness to work beyond core hours when necessary to meet client requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit an array of communications materials for internal and external audiences.
• Strong organizational, project management and consulting skills.

Job Summary

Responsible for developing, drafting, editing, and executing communications for diverse internal and external audiences. Collaborates with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and leadership to ensure communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational objectives. Manages multiple priorities and rapidly changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, flexibility, attention to detail, and customer service. May require overtime to meet business needs and project deadlines.

Required Job Qualifications

Compensation

Base Pay Range

$55,900.00 - $123,500.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
