Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related discipline strongly preferred; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Minimum of two years of experience in solid writing and editing, proven experience as a communication specialist preferred.
• Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills are required.
• Highly organized with proven ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement business development and community activities.
• Write, edit, and collect information for letters, brochures, ad copy, web copy, articles, blogs and press releases.
• Create marketing pieces such as flyers, digital graphics, and social media videos.
• Assist the business development team with marketing and promotional events as well as organize promotional items.
• Collaborate with various departmental representatives regarding communication needs and participate in the Marketing & Public Relations team.
