Georgetown University’s O’Neill Institute seeks a Communications and Events Associate to support event planning, content creation, and outreach across platforms. You will manage communications tasks, assist with KPI tracking, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to advance the Institute's mission.
The role reports to the Managing Director and involves collaboration with staff across Institute centers in a hybrid environment.

Communications and Events Associate, O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law – Georgetown University. The Communications and Events Associate will serve as a member of the O’Neill Institute’s core team, a dynamic group of staff who collaborate across the Institute to support its center and broader institutional goals. The Communication and Events Associate will support event planning and execution; content creation and distribution across a range of platforms; and outreach activities that build brand awareness. This position will provide general communications assistance to support the organization’s central mission and goals, including maintaining contact and publication databases, monitoring media requests, and tracking Communications KPIs. In addition, plan, coordinate, publicize, and implement special events such as social events, conferences, and meetings. As a member of the Institute’s core team, the Communications and Events Associate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Institute’s centers, helping to connect people, ideas and initiatives and ensuring that communications and events effectively support the Institute’s work.
The Communications and Events Associate will report to the Managing Director. In addition, this position will daily engage with members of the O’Neill Institute’s staff.
This position has been designated as Hybrid 3 Days. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Pay Range: The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $47,586.00 - $87,558.13 Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
