Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Communications on a part-time, as-needed basis. You will deliver assigned classes, utilize technology to enhance learning, and adapt lesson plans while maintaining student records and ensuring alignment with college policies.

The role requires meeting one of two education routes and engaging students in a professional, FERPA-compliant environment, with a commitment to quality instruction and student success.

Qualifications

• Master's or higher degree in speech or communication from a regionally accredited institution.
• Master's or higher degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in speech or communication from a regionally accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Supplement and alter lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades and other requirements.
• Engage with students regularly in meaningful and productive ways.
• Interact with students and colleagues professionally and in line with College policies.
