Kaiser Permanente in Oakland is seeking an on-call Communications Operator to receive and route calls, page medical center staff, and respond to inquiries about patient conditions. You will announce urgent messages, log events, and maintain records as required.
The role requires at least 1 year of multi-line telephone experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass a 25 WPM typing test. This onsite position is part of the Oakland Hospital MedFac-Communications team.
Under direct supervision, receives incoming calls, initials emergency call notification, pages medical center personnel on request, and maintains various records, as required.
