Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois seeks a proactive Communications and Training professional to drive change-ready initiatives. You will craft audience-specific communications, develop engaging training materials, and coordinate delivery across instructor-led and digital formats.

You will partner with product, technology, and business teams, manage schedules, and monitor adoption through feedback. Strong writing, AI-enabled tooling, and MS 365 proficiency are key assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience in Communications, Training, Change Management, Learning & Development, or Organizational Effectiveness.
• Strong writing, presentation, facilitation, and content development skills.
• Experience supporting technology or business transformation initiatives.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Insurance industry and/or Guidewire experience preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to create communications, develop training materials, summarize information, automate administrative tasks, and improve delivery efficiency.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, engaging communications and learning experiences.
• US Work Authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications aligned to the overall change strategy.
• Create audience-specific content, including announcements, release updates, FAQs, presentations, newsletters, and leadership messaging.
• Manage communication schedules and coordinate release communications.
• Support employee engagement and feedback activities.
• Partner with the Senior Training Specialist to develop training materials, job aids, and learning resources.
• Support instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training delivery.
• Coordinate training logistics, tracking, and reporting.
• Support post-training reinforcement and knowledge retention activities.
• Support readiness and adoption efforts through communications and learning initiatives.
• Assist with post-go-live communications and hypercare activities.
• Maintain communication and training plans, project documentation, and status reporting.
• Partner with business, product, and technology teams to support successful adoption.
