Morgan Stanley in Houston is seeking a Commodity Structurer to join the Global Commodities Structuring Group focused on North American Power and Gas. The role involves modeling transactions, pricing, and coordinating with origination, trading and risk teams to structure and execute deals.

You will develop client solutions for gas and power, prepare marketing materials, and support risk and compliance processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance/financial engineering or related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience; energy markets a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; programming knowledge beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Develop understanding of client motivations, pricing methodologies, market risk and credit risk management strategies, firm systems, and the transaction lifecycle for gas deals.
• Perform pricing analysis and coordinate with strats, trading and other relevant groups to help position the firm to win client mandates.
• Coordinate transaction execution and act as liaison between commodities and other client-facing teams such as IBD coverage, structured finance & lending and capital markets.
• Prepare client marketing materials as well as internal presentations for structured transaction review process.
• Review risk analyses and booking plans with origination, trading, legal, operations, and credit teams.
