Job summary

Agrex Inc. is seeking a position focused on contract execution and settlement of commodities to support Merchandisers. The role involves inputting and reviewing contracts, maintaining delivery files, and processing settlements with attention to accuracy.

The candidate should possess basic knowledge of U.S. agricultural commodities trading, strong computer skills (Excel/Word), and good analytical abilities. Travel may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of agricultural commodities trading business in the U.S.
• Computer experience includes Excel and Word.
• Basic math skills.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Good analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Input and review purchase and sales contracts traded by Merchandisers.
• Establish and maintain delivery and shipment files.
• Prepare, receive and review documentation.
• Communicate with supplier, buyers, freight forwarders, surveyors, agents.
• Identify issues hindering the delivery process.
• Process settlements of commodities, including bills of lading and related revenues/expenses.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Create and maintain a team environment for all supported businesses.
• Understand invoicing and follow up through payment receipt.
• Follow regulations including export declarations and insurance reporting.
• Provide customer service and fetch information for management.
• Support policies and utilize operation systems.
• Assist co-workers and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain proper filing and document retention.
