We are seeking a Commodity Manager - Molding to join our Global Strategic Sourcing team. You will manage supplier relationships to ensure strategic alignment and sustainability, oversee suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and price, and support supply chain operations. Your responsibilities include developing molding sourcing strategies, identifying new suppliers, driving productivity, mitigating risks, building project pipelines with sites, and supporting new product development and value engineering.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring 1-2 days on-site per week at designated locations. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to create and implement sourcing strategies for world-class molding supply chain performance, aligning with production, NPD, and R&D objectives.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships to meet performance and productivity goals through effective supplier management techniques.
• Lead negotiations and contract development, support strategic sourcing and VAVE initiatives, and drive project implementation with teams and suppliers.
• Engage early in NPD phases to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, meet cost targets, and support on-time product launches.
• Understand tooling quotation processes, cost drivers, and market conditions, working closely with Engineering to influence design decisions for technical and cost objectives.
• Build industry relationships as a subject matter expert in molding and associated resins, keeping abreast of technical and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), preferably in Business or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of strategic sourcing experience, with a solid understanding of procurement principles.
• Experience in plastics and molded parts/components is a plus.
• Proven negotiation skills with suppliers on agreements, pricing, and inventory.

Additional Information:

• Travel up to 20-30% for meetings with suppliers and manufacturing sites.

Compensation:

Annual base salary range: $82,300 - $152,800, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Other compensation may include bonuses and benefits.
