The Role

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Commodity Manager who brings energy, insight, and decisive action to our global supply chain operations. In this role, you’ll design and execute impactful sourcing strategies, elevate supplier performance, and mitigate risk—all while collaborating with cross-functionally to drive cost efficiency, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience. If you excel at balancing strategic vision with tactical execution and thrive in fast-paced, change-driven environments, we want you on our team. If you can juggle supplier meetings, Excel spreadsheets, and the occasional urgent fire drill without losing your cool (or your coffee), you’ll fit right in!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies that deliver measurable value.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution to ensure optimal cost and performance.
  • Monitor and enhance supplier performance through improvement initiatives and scorecard metrics.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks, including rapid-response support for critical issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement internally and across the supply base to align with business objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
  • 3 + years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-30%, both domestically and internationally.

  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or APICS certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commodity strategy development with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable presenting at all levels.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and action-oriented with a strong sense of urgency in high-impact situations.

Where And When You’ll Work

  • This is an in-person role located at our Greene, New York office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Salary - $86,000 - $122,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
